My own private blingdom

I love this ring very much and for a while, was not really sure what to do with it. I thought it would be truly sad if I sold it because it was a gift of sorts, and it would be a shame if it just sat around in my cupboard. Besides which, it had a great deal of happy memories associated with it, and I could not bear to part with it. So right before Christmas, I went back to Stuart Moore and replaced the center diamond with a blue diamond. I had initially planned on replacing it with a sapphire, but ended up with a blue diamond because, well, somehow it seemed like a better idea at the time. Because I have gotten incredibly lazy about leaving Brooklyn on the weekends, I just got around to picking up my new ring this past weekend, and today I wore it to work. Just because...I felt like feeling a little sparkly.

The above picture does not do it justice though, because my hands look really gross, like they are covered in hair. That is an optical illusion though; instead, my camera just decided to make my hands look like the belong to a 60 year old.
